May 6, 2020 -- The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is pleased to announce its 2019 winners. Established in 2002, ISC is the world’s largest international songwriting competition, receiving over 18,000 entries from 140 countries in 2019. More than $150,000 in cash and merchandise is awarded to 71 winners in 23 categories covering all genres of music.
It is with great pleasure that ISC bestows its highest honor, the 2019 Grand Prize, to Australian artist and songwriter Tones And I for the song "Dance Monkey." The Grand Prize consists of $25,000 in cash (USD) and almost $45,000 in additional prizes.
"Congratulations! On behalf of everyone at ISC and our judges, it is my pleasure to personally inform you that the song "NWAYE" has been awarded an Honorable Mention in the World Music category in the 2019 International Songwriting Competition (ISC). Although being selected an Honorable Mention does not garner any physical prizes, with over 18,000 entries from 140 countries, ISC still considers you an ISC winner. Only 1% of all entries made it to Honorable Mention, so you should be extremely proud of this achievement."
NWAYE is the 4th single from Malou's SPIRITWALKER album. Co-composed by Malou Beauvoir and Paul Beaubrun. Malou's lyrics are a cry of revolt against injustice and discrimination. Produced by Chico Boyer, Cheff Loncher (Kamoken Studios) and Malou Beauvoir. The video was released in May 2020.
Toutes mes plus sincères félicitations Malou pour cette récompense grandement méritée, le titre est magnifique et le vidéo sublime. A bientôt j'espère à Bruxelles ou à Port au Prince Gilles
